Waist Trainer or Waste Trainer?

I don’t even know where to start. My mind is blown that people could truly buy this product and believe that it would “train” their midsection to be smaller. Celebrities that have the audacity to endorse this product are also ridiculous. In no way does restricting your midsections for a few hours a day, change it permanently. Not only does it do nothing good for your body, it’s actually dangerous. They recommend you wear this corset to the gym. I’ve worn a corset and I’ll tell you that just standing and breathing is uncomfortable. These waist trainers restrict lung capacity and put unecessary pressure on your organs. The only thing these things do, is make it unpleasant for you to eat and breathe. Some doctors say it can cause indigestion and heart burn as well. There is no quick fix for belly fat, unless you plan on having major surgery. Understanding diet and exercise will be a key element in changing your body. They say abs are made in the kitchen, and I don’t know who “they” are, but they aren’t lying. Some of these companies suggest that their waist trainers produce a targeted area for sweating, therefore pinpointing the fat loss. Sweat is not fat loss. Sweat is water loss. And will be gained right back after you replenish. Instead of wearing that around your house for an hour, waiting for a miracle…my best suggestion would be to take that hour and run/hike/bike/walk or go to the gym.
